My top three choices from current project ideas would have to be Seed Wayne, Access to Internet, and Wayne State Lights. I think that the Seed Wayne Initiative has many applications that could be beneficial, and contribute to other existing problems. The idea is open to any genre, and relevant to a wide audience. I am particularly interested in the proposal of new designs, and systems for this project idea. I pitched the Access to Internet idea for this project, and I believe that it has many countless interpretations. Tech companies like Google, and activist movements are currently attempting to bring internet to rural areas worldwide. It also involves other big topics like commercialized internet, open-source, and internet governance. The idea is very broad with many applications and beneficial on a global scale. Wayne State Lights has a small audience, but is part of a bigger problem. I think that the idea has potential, and could improve other experiences at Wayne State. It could save cost that could be allocated to other programs, and improve student learning experiences.

I realized after reading both articles, that I had could relate to many of the situations that were discussed. The stasis theory reading shows that teams could be working toward a common goal, but team members could approach it differently. The theory could be used to determine the difference, and help team members reach conclusions faster. Wolfe’s article suggests that teamwork can increase efficiency, but only if teams can effectively work together. I have prior experience with all three collaborative methods suggested in the article, and know all the drawbacks. I think that establishing a task schedule, alternating collaborative methods, and communicating are key factors in managing a team.
