How to program an effective macro and micro nutrient based diet
i. My goal is to provide individuals with simple to understand logic to creating an effective diet. A less obvious goal is to have them learn then how to go on and loss or gain their desired amount of weight.
ii. Many of the questions from page 573 talk about the materials and equipment one needs to complete this How To guide. For this guide, you won't need any equipment, you just need to be willing to learn the basics of nutrition.
iii. I am creating a topic of my own. There are a lot of entries on the topic of dieting, but I couldn't find any that explains where to start when creating your own diet program.

- This first one talks about the different diets people can choose from. While it does a good job of explaining where to go, it doesn't really explain the question, where to start?
2. http://www.wikihow.com/Have-a-Good-Diet
- This particular How To guide actually provides a very good answer to the question, where to start? The only difference between this article and mine is that this article provides information on how to solely lose weight. With my guide, I want to provide simple information on how one can lose, gain or maintain their weight.
iv. I probably won't have to do too much research. The reason being is I already know quite a bit about my topic and have been reading and researching about it for at least a few years now. Also, I have implemented the basics I have researched about in my own dieting programs and have successfully seen progression in weight loss and weight gain.
v. Draft of potential steps
1. Establish your desired goal
2. Figure out your maintenance calorie amount
3. Take two weeks to experiment to figure out step 2
4. Increase or decrease 150 calories from maintenance, then track where your weight goes
