CHEMIST / CHEMICAL ENGINEER ENTRY LEVEL (0-3 YEARS EXPERIENCE)

CHEMIST / LAB TECHNICIAN JOB DUTIES:

oPerforming chemical testing on the samples of paint produced

oUse formulas to prepare and mix samples of waterborne and solvent borne automotive paints

oPrepare and spray panels with Primer, Base, Clear Coats paint samples oflash and bake panels in ovens

oRecord all results in database and create spreadsheets

oConduct inventory on raw materials oPerform physical and appearance testing on panels, such as:Water Soak, QCT, gas immersion, Adhesion Testing Tukon, Gravelometer Testing,High Performance Chipping and so forth as defines in customer specifications

Recent college graduates will be considered for this entry level position!

Ideal candidate will have some prior lab experience (industry or university lab)

BS or BA Degree in a science is a plus (chemistry and biology preferred). Associates with some combination of the following experience are typically the best candidates:

Lab Experience Preferred
Organized, neat record keeping, ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Paint Lab and Paint Testing Experience is a plus
Experience with Automotive OEM material specifications is a plus
